Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM) evaluations at Bailey Vet Care bridge modern veterinary knowledge with time-honored Eastern diagnostic principles. Dr. Kristin Hamann’s TCVM assessment looks at the whole picture — not just symptoms — to understand underlying imbalance, qi stagnation, organ disharmony, and constitutional tendencies that may be contributing to your pet’s condition.

During a TCVM evaluation, we assess tongue characteristics, pulse qualities, emotional tendencies, seasonal/environmental influences, and patterns of discomfort or weakness. This holistic approach is especially helpful for chronic conditions that don’t fully resolve with modern Western medicine alone — such as arthritis, chronic pain, allergies, GI disorders, anxiety, geriatric decline, and recurrent inflammatory disease.

TCVM also complements conventional treatment plans. Our goal is not to replace Western medicine, but to expand the toolbox so each pet receives a more complete and individualized care strategy. By combining TCVM with diagnostics, nutritional therapy, and lifestyle adjustments, we often see improved comfort, stronger resilience, and overall enhanced vitality.

If your pet has ongoing issues, or you are interested in a more integrative approach, schedule a TCVM evaluation with us at (720) 307-4701.
