Kristin Hamann, DVM, PhD, CVBMA obtained her bachelor's degree in Zoology and Spanish Minor at Texas A&M. She received her DVM and PhD from Purdue University. She has studied at Chi University in Florida and is also one of the only veterinarians in the United States certified in Balance Method acupuncture, which is a minimal needle technique. Dr. Kristin is truly an integrative veterinarian and utilizes both Eastern and Western techniques depending on what will be most effective for your pet's condition. She has extensive experience with emergency medicine and general practice in addition to Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM). Dr. Kristin offers integrative veterinary care combining acupuncture, Chinese herbs, food therapy, and Tuina Massage. Holistic medicine emphasizes examining the body as a whole and the interconnectedness of the different systems in the body and how this relates to disease processes. Located in Bailey, CO, Dr. Kristin offers house calls to reduce the stress of traveling for your pets.
